Hightstown

The borough itself is walkable and older, so front walks, entry steps and short driveways make up most of what we replace in Hightstown proper. Matching the existing streetscape while bringing risers and joint spacing up to current standards is the balance we're managing.

Just outside the borough, East Windsor's developments are large enough that we're often doing the same work on several homes in a season — driveways that were poured thin over an uncompacted base and are now cracking on a predictable schedule.

Properties near Peddie Lake and the lower-lying streets need drainage planned deliberately. We set pitch so surface water runs to where it should go rather than toward a foundation or a neighbor's yard.
